Skype is the application that facilitates reconnection among people. It allows text messaging, voice calls, and video calls with friends from anywhere with an Internet connection. Guide to reviewing Skype messages
In this tutorial, we'll demonstrate how to review Skype messages on your computer. However, you can apply the same steps to review messages on your phone or on Skype running in a web browser. If you don't have a Skype account yet, quickly sign up for one.
Step 1: Go to the List of Conversations
In the main interface after installing Skype, you'll find the
Click on Chats, and you'll see a list of conversations automatically arranged from newest to oldest.
Step 2: Activate Search on Skype
In the Chats section, when you know exactly which chat you want to search for -> simply click on the conversation box of the person you want to view the chat history for -> immediately, you'll see the previous chat history by scrolling up to search for the messages you want to review.
If your chat history is too long and the message you're looking for is not recent -> go to the Find tool with a magnifying glass icon located just below the account name or group name. Click on it to start using this tool.
Step 3: How to Use Search on Skype
When you click on Find, a small box will appear -> enter the message content into this search box -> immediately, Skype will automatically search for the message history with content containing the keywords you're looking for. It will mark the relevant content with those keywords and display it for you to see. Finally, click on that message to open and review the details of the message.

- Information Input Box: Allows you to enter keywords, message content for searching. For example, in the image above, when you enter the keyword 'Mytour.'
- X Mark: Enables you to delete text, clear old keywords, and enter new keywords;
- Number of Results: As shown in the image, there is 1 result (1/1). This function displays the number of search results and informs you about the current result you are viewing out of the total.
- Previous/Next Results: This section helps you navigate to previous or next results (Next and Previous).
- Cancel: This is the Cancel option to turn off the Find tool, stopping the review of chat history.
On your phone, tap on Search (magnifying glass icon) directly in the Chat section -> In the search box, enter the message content you want to search for -> Skype on the phone will automatically search and display the content of messages containing the specified keywords -> Choose a friend's account with the displayed message content to open and review the message you are looking for.
