Rotating the Screen on iPhone and iPad

Enable Screen Rotation on iPhone, iPad
Step 1: First, turn on your iPhone or iPad and open the Control Center by swiping up from the bottom of the screen.
Step 2: Once the Control Center window appears, tap on the lock icon with a rotating arrow to activate the screen rotation function.
Once this feature is activated, the icon will turn into a subdued gray, as illustrated below.
Screen rotation proves incredibly useful for gaming, video watching, or handling tasks that require a larger display. However, in regular use with standard apps, automatic screen rotation can be quite bothersome. To temporarily disable this feature, follow these steps.
Step 3: Reopen the Control Center by swiping up from the bottom of the screen. Touch the icon for screen rotation on your iPhone or iPad; when it turns white, you're good to go.
