While there are many mobile apps developed on platforms like Android, iOS, and Windows, there are also some apps developed exclusively for Android, iOS, or Windows devices.
If you're using an Android device and want to experience running iOS apps on it, here's how you can do it.
Open a Browser and Visit Appetize.io
One of the simplest ways to run iOS apps on Android devices without installing any third-party apps is to open a browser on your Android device and visit Appetize.io. This is an online emulator that launches iOS-compatible devices with a complete iOS interface.

Step 2: On your device screen, you'll see a window like the one below, all you need to do is click the Click to Play button.
Step 3: Perform the actions to open the iOS operating system, and you can run any iOS app here. To run an iOS app, you can upload the app to the website, and the app will be ready to run.
iOS Emulator Apps for Android
There are several iOS emulator apps available for Android devices, allowing you to run iOS apps on Android devices. Among them are Cider and iEMU apps for Android. To run these emulator apps, your Android device must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 512MB RAM.
- Android version 2.3 or higher.
- The device should have enough free space; iEMU app occupies up to 60MB of space, while Cider only takes up 12MB.
Using iEMU Emulator to Run iOS Apps on Android
iEMU is one of the best emulation programs to run iOS apps on Android devices. Downloading, installing, and using iEMU is quite simple and straightforward.

Once you've finished downloading iEMU, follow the steps below:
Step 1: If you've downloaded the apk file on your computer, your task is to transfer the file to your Android device. This file takes up about 60MB of free space on your Android device.
Step 2: On your Android device, open Settings, then navigate to Security and activate Allow installations of apps from unknown sources.
Step 3: Navigate to where you've stored the iEMU apk file, then select the file to install.
After successfully installing the emulator, proceed to check the apps you've installed. You'll see an app named AIO Downloader (the second app on the screen in the example above). Tap to run the app.
This app allows you to download iOS apps and run them on the emulator. In this example, we're downloading the iMusic app. You can download any iOS app you want and run those apps right on your Android device.
The only limitation of iEMU is that this emulator app only supports .zip and .ipas files.
Using Cider to Run iOS Apps on Android Devices
In addition to iEMU, Cider is also an app used to run iOS apps on Android devices. Developed by a group of students, they believe that both Android and iOS run on ARM hardware. Although still in the research stage, this app works quite well.
Cider has some limitations compared to the iEMU emulator; it does not support GPS, Bluetooth, or any other location services.
The first step you need to take is to download the Cider apk file on your computer. Once downloaded, transfer the file to your Android device and install it.

After successfully installing, access the App Drawer on your Android device and find the Cider app. Tap to install the app. This action opens the emulator, where you can download and run iOS apps on your Android device.
In the example below, after downloading and running the iOS messaging app on the Android device, the app functions similarly to how it does on an iOS device.
Above are some ways to run iOS apps on Android devices. One thing to note is that not all iOS apps are supported; you'll need to try and check if any errors occur while running the apps.
