With Andrognito for Android, you can easily hide various types of files on your phone. Unlike other apps where hidden files can still be seen and protected by passwords, with Andrognito, they almost disappear from file management.
Step 1: Download and install Andrognito for Android for free.
Step 2: Open Andrognito for Android. The app will prompt you to register, but it's straightforward. Just enter your name and password, and you're good to go. Next, the app will show that no files are hidden yet.
Step 3: Using the file manager app, navigate to the Download folder where we have 5 files. To begin hiding files, tap the plus icon at the top right, then choose the folder containing the file.
Step 4: Long press on the file to be hidden for about 1-2 seconds until a green checkmark appears indicating the file is selected. Here, we select the file taimienphi_video.mp4.
Step 5: Options will appear, select: the padlock icon for normal speed data hiding, the lightning bolt icon for fast hiding, and finally, the '-' icon to deselect. Here, I choose the padlock icon.
Step 6: Returning to the ES File Explorer File Manager app for Android, there are now only 4 files left, with the taimienphi_video.mp4 file hidden. Going back to Andrognito for Android, the app also notifies that there is 1 hidden file.
Step 7: To unhide a file, tap on the hidden file section, here there is 1 file, then long press on that file for 1-2 seconds and tap the unlock icon. The file will be unhidden.
