These steps are applicable to Samsung K Series Smart TVs from 2016-2017.
Step 1: Press the Home button on your TV remote (house icon).
Step 2: The TV will display a bottom Menu bar, select Settings.
Step 3: Scroll down and select System.
Step 4: Select Advanced Settings.
Step 5: Choose Information Security.
Step 6: Press Scan for the TV to initiate scanning, and then select Quarantine to automatically block detected viruses.
Under the Information Security section, there are additional features such as:
- Quarantine List: This is where the TV manages a list of detected viruses and isolates them.
- Real-time Monitoring: We should select Open to keep the TV in a state ready to scan for viruses at any time.
- Monitoring Results: All security activity logs and scan lists are stored here.
