If you're feeling bored with using the same old static images as wallpapers on your iPhone, why not switch to dynamic wallpapers to add a little spice to your iPhone experience? Dynamic wallpapers are an easy and fun way to make your iPhone reflect your personality, style, and interests.

Dynamic Wallpapers vs. Live Wallpapers
It's important to distinguish between these two types of wallpapers. In general, both dynamic and live wallpapers have the ability to move, unlike the monotony of static wallpapers.
- Live wallpapers are interactive and dynamic. This means that when you touch the screen, animations are triggered, creating a beautiful motion effect. Live wallpapers only work on the lock screen; initially, they appear static until you interact with them. To use this feature, you need an iPhone with 3D Touch (iPhone 6S and above).
- On the other hand, dynamic wallpapers continuously move on both the lock screen and home screen, resembling a short looping video. Dynamic wallpapers do not require 3D Touch to function, so any iPhone running iOS 7 or higher can use this type of wallpaper.
How to Set Up Dynamic and Live Wallpapers on iPhone
Step 1: Open Settings, go to Wallpaper.

Select “Choose New Wallpaper”.

Step 2: To set a Live wallpaper, tap Live and choose one of the provided wallpapers.

Step 3: On this screen, you can preview the animation of the live wallpaper by pressing and holding on the screen. This is how it works; once satisfied, select Set.

Choose one of the three options below depending on your wallpaper usage needs, but regardless, Live wallpapers can only be active on the lock screen.

Additionally, to set a Live wallpaper created by yourself, simply open the photo gallery and select an image in Live mode.

After selecting your desired image, at this setup step, remember to turn on Live Photo so the image can become animated.

How to Set Dynamic Wallpapers on iPhone
The process is similar to setting Live wallpapers, except: after pressing “Choose New Wallpaper,” you'll select Dynamic instead of Live.

Unlike Live, dynamic wallpapers will continuously play motion without requiring any touch. This means you can set this type of wallpaper for both Lock and Home screens.
Where to Download Live Wallpapers for Your iPhone?
New iPhones only provide you with a limited selection of 3 live wallpapers, but you can find more live wallpapers online or from apps in the App Store (Live Wallpapers Now, Wallpapers & Themes for Me,...).
Alternatively, you can create your own live wallpapers using the Camera app (when taking a photo, enable Live mode).

As for dynamic wallpapers, Apple doesn't allow you to add them unless you jailbreak your iPhone. Mytour does not encourage you to do this as it poses significant security risks to your device.
