Locate a platform that permits file uploads to their server. There are numerous websites tailored for this purpose, but no single one is ideal for all users and file types. When choosing which platform to use, consider:
- What file types they accept. For instance, most platforms prohibit adult content, while others specialize in it.
- Almost all platforms have maximum file size limits.
- Do they provide sufficient bandwidth?
- What are the charges for their service? Many are free, but be wary of advertisements.
- How long do they retain uploaded files?
- Is their privacy policy acceptable?

Locate and choose the file you wish to upload.
Press 'upload file'.
