Directly Share with Another Google Account
Use this method if you only want to share with specific individuals, provided they have a Google account.
Step 1: Go to http://photos.google.com/ and log in with your Google account.
Step 2: Hover over the photo or video you wish to share, tick ✓ to select (you can select multiple photos). Then click on the Share icon.
Step 3: Choose the person you want to share with (click on their account if they are already in your contacts, or enter their email address or name to search). You can share with multiple people at once.
Step 4: You can also write an additional message to send along with the photo. Then click on the Send icon to share the photo with the selected individuals.
The person you just shared the photo with will receive a notification in the Google Photos app (accessible in the Share tab) and a notification via email.
Send a link or share through another app
Applicable when you want to share publicly on a website, on social media, or share with people without Google accounts.
Step 1: Go to http://photos.google.com/ and log in with your Google account.
Step 2: Hover over the photo or video you wish to share, mark ✓ to select (you can choose multiple photos). Then click on the Share icon.
Step 3: There are two options: Get a link to share or share on social media (Facebook, Twitter). Choose the sharing method according to your preference.
Step 4:
- If you selected Create link in Step 3: A link to the photo album will be generated. You can copy it and share it with anyone or anywhere.
- If you choose to share on Facebook or Twitter in Step 3: You will be directed to the selected social media platform to share the photo.
