Surely, none of us are strangers to the Photoshop editing software. It's considered the wizard in the realm of photo editing, and in this article, we'll guide you through using Photoshop to sharpen blurry images. This method will prove quite useful for those who want to enhance and increase the resolution of their blurry photos. Let's dive in.
Step 1: Open Photoshop and then open your blurry image by selecting File -> Open.
For instance, here we have a rather blurry image when zoomed in, as shown below:
Step 2: Choose Image -> Image Size from the menu.
Step 3: A new window will appear. Firstly, adjust the resolution of the image in the Pixel Dimension section (increase the Width to around 1000). Next, adjust the pixel density to about 150 in the Resolution section.
Note: Increasing the pixel density will automatically increase the image resolution.
Finally, select Bicubic Smoother (best for enlargement) in the last row and click OK.
