On the iPhone 14 series running iOS 16, you can easily add a battery Widget to the lock screen for convenient monitoring, especially useful with Always-on. However, once connected to other devices like an Apple Watch or AirPods, the phone's battery percentage Widget disappears. So, in today's article, I'll guide you on how to display the battery percentage on the iPhone 14 lock screen. Let's dive in.
How to Display Battery Percentage on iPhone 14 Lock Screen
If you only use an iPhone and don't connect to other wireless devices, you can easily add the phone's battery percentage Widget to your lock screen from the lock screen customization section.
Step 1: However, if you're connected and using another wireless device, and you want to have the battery percentage widget on the lock screen, you'll need to use a third-party app. The app we'll use in this article is iScreen, I'll provide the app download link below for your convenience in downloading and using it when needed.
Step 2: After downloading the app, open it, and you'll find a Widget called Battery under the main System section. Select it and customize the appearance and details of this Widget according to your usage style. Once you've finished editing, tap on the Save to My Widget section.
Step 3: Next, access the lock screen customization section, select the Widgets below the clock. Find the Widget from the iScreen app you just created, then drag it to an empty Widget slot.
Step 4: Tap on that Widget again above the lock screen Widget section to select the newly created Battery Widget, and you'll be able to monitor the battery percentage on the lock screen. If you're using the Always-on display, you can also view it there.
