Step 2: In the Programs and Features window, locate Avast, right-click on it, and select Uninstall/Change. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall Avast.
Step 3: Open any browser on your computer and go to Avast's homepage at : http://my.avast.com/. Then, log in to your Avast account here.
Step 4: Navigate to the Device section. Here, select the name of the computer you no longer want to use Avast on.
Step 5: Click on the computer icon to open the information page. Click on the Settings button (located at the top right corner) to open the Settings page.
Step 6: Finally, click on the Delete From Account button to remove the selected computer from your Avast account.
Step 7: On the new computer or the computer where you want to transfer the Avast license to, download a copy of Avast from the official Avast antivirus software homepage. Run the setup file, follow the on-screen instructions to install Avast.
During setup, when you see the screen below, click on I have already bought a subscription and enter the activation code. Click Continue to proceed to the next steps.
After completing the installation process, Avast will automatically connect to the server and activate the license of the Avast copy on your other computer.
