If you're using an Android phone and want to switch to an iPhone but don't know how to transfer your contacts, follow the steps below to learn how to migrate your contacts from Android to iPhone.
Steps to Follow:
Step 1: First, on your Android device, go to Contacts.
Step 2: Next, choose the Menu icon.
Step 3: Select Manage Contacts.
Step 4: Choose Import Export.
Step 5: Select All contacts to copy all existing contacts.
Step 6: Choose Export to memory.
Step 7: Press Ok to confirm.
- Once the contacts are exported from the device, access the file management section on your device and locate the exported file. Tap and hold on the file with the .vcf extension.
Step 8: Select Share.
Step 9: Choose Gmail to share via Gmail.
- Enter the Email information you used to sign in on your iPhone, then tap on the send icon.
Wait until the Android phone finishes sending the email, then proceed to the iPhone and select the Mail app.
- Select the email with the attached file corresponding to the contact list.
