Due to encountering some limitations while using iCloud Photos for multi-device usage, I made the decision to move my photos from iCloud Photos to Google Photos. Initially, it took quite some time to undergo the conversion process as I was not aware of this particular tip. After numerous trial and error attempts, I finally discovered a faster method for transferring photos to Google Photos instead of manually dragging them from Photos.Follow these steps:
- 1. Access this link: privacy.apple.com.
2. Log in to your iCloud account.
3. Once logged in, select Request to transfer a copy of your data from the available options.

- After making your selection, your photos and videos will be displayed along with the total size. At this point, choose Google Photos as the destination, then select whether to transfer photos, videos, or both to Google Photos.

- Press Continue, and a window will appear for you to sign in to your Google account. Then select Add to your Google Photos library.

- Afterwards, it will estimate the required storage space in Google Photos for you to initiate the data transfer process. If it's sufficient, just hit Confirm; otherwise, you'll need to purchase additional storage.

- If all conditions are met and you've pressed Confirm, then you're all set.

- Upon completion of the conversion process, you'll receive an email from Apple like the one below. Once the entire data transfer process is completed, you'll receive another email to notify you. The data transfer process will take between 3 to 7 days.
Update: Notification email confirming completion of data transfer:
