This guide demonstrates how to deactivate Hearing Aid Mode, a feature intended to enhance audio quality for hearing aid users, but which may amplify sound excessively for some individuals.

1. Access Settings.
2. Navigate to

General.
3. Select Accessibility.
4. Choose Hearing Aids.
5. Toggle the Hearing Aid Mode switch.

Procedure

Access your iPhone's Settings menu by tapping the Settings app on one of your Home screens. You may find the Settings app in a folder labeled 'Utilities.'

Select General. You may need to scroll down a bit to see it.

Choose Accessibility.

Scroll down and tap Hearing Aids. You'll find this in the Hearing section.

Tap the Hearing Aid Mode slider. If Hearing Aid Mode was enabled, this will disable it. When Hearing Aid mode is disabled, the slider moves to the left.
