1. Folding the Laptop Screen while Keeping the Computer Active.
Typically, when we fold the laptop screen, the computer goes into Sleep mode, and the running applications come to a halt. To fold the screen while keeping the applications active, follow these steps:
Step 1: Right-click on the battery icon in the Taskbar and choose Power Options

2. Setting up automatic screen shutdown for your computer
If you're not a fan of closing your laptop lid, you can configure your computer to automatically turn off the screen after a specific period. Here's how:
Still within the Power Options window, select the Choose when to turn off the display option.
Next, in the new window under the Turn off the display section, choose the time when the screen will automatically turn off. For example, if you choose 5 minutes, the screen will turn off automatically after 5 minutes.
For the Put the computer to sleep option, select Never to prevent the computer from entering Sleep mode. Finally, press Save Changes to apply.
3. Utilizing software to turn off your laptop screen
If you're not keen on waiting for your computer screen to turn off, you can use software to do it with just one click.
The software is called Turn Off Monitor; it's lightweight, only 100kb, and requires no installation.
