To ensure you get to experience the Fields of Justice early, the developers have added a feature to update the League of Legends version for gamers. But first, you need to download the latest patch of the game.
Note: You need to copy the downloaded update to the drive containing the League of Legends folder. For example, if you have installed League of Legends on drive C:/, you need to place the downloaded file in drive C:/ before proceeding with the update.
Method 1: Manual Update of League of Legends Version
Step 2: Select the Manual Update feature appearing at the bottom left of Garena as illustrated below by Mytour.
Step 3: Choose the path to the new League of Legends update version (.exe format) that you previously downloaded, then click Open.
Step 4: Click OK and wait for the new League of Legends update to complete.
Method 2: Automatic Update Feature for League of Legends
Step 1: Similarly, as above, you need to launch the Garena PC software and log in to your gaming account.
- Step 3: After the update process concludes, click Start to initiate the game.
