How to Update PUBG Mobile to the Latest Version on Tencent Gaming Buddy
1. Update Tencent Gaming Buddy to the latest version
The first case may be because the Tencent Gaming Buddy emulator you are using is not the latest version. To fix this, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Open Tencent Gaming Buddy.
Step 2: Click on the three horizontal bars icon at the top right of the application.
Step 3: Click Update.
Step 4: Wait for the system to check if the current version of the application has been updated to the latest version.
2. Change the version of PUBG Mobile you are playing
When playing PUBG Mobile on Tencent Gaming Buddy, you may not notice, but for games with multiple distinct regions, Tencent Gaming Buddy will provide installation packages for all those regions. For example, if you are in Vietnam and install PUBG Mobile on Tencent Gaming Buddy, you will have 2 options to download: the Vietnam version and the international version.
As two regions will have different update times, sometimes conflicts may occur, causing one of the versions not to display the update. At this point, everything is straightforward, you just need to follow these steps.
Step 1: Open Tencent Gaming Buddy, select the My Games tab.
Step 2: Below the PUBG Mobile game, there will be a Change Server button, click on that button.
Step 3: Perform the server switch, if you are using the International version, switch to Vietnam and vice versa. Then click the x button to close the window.
Step 4: At this point, the system will automatically recheck the current version of the game and update if it is not the latest version.
Step 5: Continue to switch back to the original server you were playing on. Then close Tencent Gaming Buddy and reopen it.
Step 6: You will see the Update button appear, click to update and start playing the game.
Step 7: Some of you may still not see the Update button anywhere, don't worry, just click Play to enter the game as usual.
Step 8: When entering the game, since you haven't updated PUBG Mobile, the system will proceed to download the in-game update for you. Please wait until the update success message appears. Click OK to start playing.
