Youtube is an online platform for sharing videos, where you can share and discover videos uploaded by people from all over the world. This article will guide you through the basic steps of uploading videos to Youtube. All you need is a Youtube account or a Gmail account, both of which are supported by Google. Having just one account will synchronize everything across Google services.
Step 1: Go to the Youtube homepage, then click on Sign In and log in to your Youtube account (you can use your Gmail account to sign in).
Step 2: After logging in to Youtube, click on Upload on the Youtube homepage.
Step 3: When uploading a video for the first time, you'll see a prompt. Click OK to proceed. The upload interface will appear. You can drag and drop the video from your computer onto the upward arrow icon.
Alternatively, click on the upward arrow icon in the Open dialog box, navigate to the video you want to upload, and select Open.
Step 4: Wait for the video to upload. The upload speed may vary depending on the length and size of your video.
You can add more videos by clicking on Add another video.
Step 5: Fill in some basic information for the video: Title, Description, Tags, add a message to the video.
Step 6: Select the Advanced settings tab to configure advanced settings for your video.
Some basic information:
Comments: Allow comments below your video.
Age restriction: Specify the age group suitable for viewing your video.
Category: Choose a category for your video: Music, Entertainment, Education, etc.
Video location: Select the location, place to upload the video.
Video Language: Choose the language for your video.
You can leave other information as default.
Step 7: Select Publish to publish the Video.
Once the video is published, click on the link to view your video on Youtube.
Step 8: You can further customize below your video.
