How to Use Hot Knot Feature on Oppo Phones

Using the Hot Knot feature on Oppo phones enables easy and quick data transmission without the need for cables, similar to NFC protocol with Qualcomm devices.

Previously, high-speed data transmission via NFC protocol was known with Qualcomm devices, but now MediaTek introduces a similar technology called Hot Knot, available for Oppo phones. Currently, Oppo models supporting this feature include: Neo 3, Joy, and Yoyo.

How to Use Hot Knot Feature on Oppo Phones for Data Transfer Between 2 Devices

Step 1: On both Oppo phones, go to Settings > Additional Settings > check the box for 'Transfer Screen'.

Step 2: Navigate to the file you want to send, press and hold on the file, then select 'Share' > 'Hot Knot'.

Step 3: A notification will appear, instructing you to stack the two phones together.

Step 4: The receiving device will display a loading icon.

Using the Hot Knot feature on Oppo phones is similar to using Bluetooth and NFC. You can easily transfer, copy files between two Oppo devices by yourself.
