How to use Notes on Instagram, utilizing Instagram Notes

After a period of introducing the storytelling feature on Instagram, using Instagram Stories to share daily moments, now Instagram introduces a new feature, using Notes on Instagram to write short content sharing user emotions. Not only that, it is also displayed right at the top of the Direct Message Menu and lasts for 24 hours.

I. How to Use Notes on Instagram

1. Quick Guide

Step 1: Update Instagram to the latest version.
Step 2: Then, open Direct Message and select Write note on the profile picture with a plus sign.
Step 3: Enter Note, select close friends, and share the Note with everyone.

2. Detailed Instructions

Step 1: Update or download the latest version of Instagram

- Download link for Instagram on Android.
- Download link for Instagram on iPhone.

Step 2: Open the Instagram app, click the Messenger icon => select profile picture with a plus sign.

Step 3: Enter Note => press Add people => select friends to display the note => press Done.

- Click Share.

Step 4: Instagram Notes will appear as shown below. Here, you can post another Note or delete a posted Note by tapping on the profile picture.

Instagram Notes is a new feature allowing users to share thoughts with friends or loved ones. Typically, these Notes are pinned at the top of the Direct Message menu.

III. Some Notes on Instagram Notes Feature

- Instagram Notes is an experimental feature recently introduced to select users.

- It serves as a platform for sharing short Notes, limited to a maximum of 60 characters, and lasting for 24 hours.

- You can only share Notes with close friends or mutual followers.

In addition to the Note feature on Instagram, you can also enable data saving mode on Instagram if you are using 4G, to avoid mobile data consumption and save battery. However, this method will make the process of loading videos and images longer than usual and the quality will slightly decrease.
