How to Use YouTube Music on Your Phone

After downloading the YouTube Music app, follow the steps below to use YouTube Music on your phone.
Step 1: Upon first accessing the app, choose the Sign in option -> Select the Gmail account to connect with YouTube Music.
Step 2: There are two options for continuing to use the YouTube Music app: Try the 2-week free trial or Sign up for a Premium account to use advanced features. If you want to experience the app without paying, select: No, thanks ->Let's get started.
Step 3: YouTube Music will display a list of favorite artists for you to choose from. Based on the artists you've selected, the app will display music videos, songs from these artists, or artists with similar music genres and styles when you access YouTube Music. Once you've selected your favorite artists, click Done to proceed to the next step.
Step 4: A notification will appear requesting permission for the app to access your phone. Select Allow.
Step 5: The main interface of the YouTube Music app will appear as depicted below. You scroll down to find options such as: Recommended music videos, top favorite charts, newly released albums, or artists with similar music genres to the ones you selected in step 3...
Step 6: To listen to a song, select the Album name or the song itself. You can play music from the Album in order or shuffle through the songs within it.
Tap on the three-dot icon to add to playlist or share with friends, social media apps...
The plus icon allows you to add the currently playing Album to your YouTube Music app library.
The downward arrow icon lets you download that album.
You can also individually download each song from the album by selecting your favorite song to download -> Click on the three-dot icon ->Download.
Each song or music video on YouTube Music app features a Like or Dislike functionality for expressing your preference.
Step 7: The Hostlist video section compiles the most recent, interesting, and captivating videos available today.
Step 8: You can search for your favorite artist or song, music video by selecting the magnifying glass icon in the YouTube Music app.
Step 9: The Library section serves as a repository for the songs, music videos you've added to playlists or downloaded.
