Google Dictionary is a powerful online tool by Google, accessible through specific operators and phrases within Google Search. It's also integrated into Google Translate and available as a Google Chrome extension.
The dictionary content is licensed from OxfordDictionaries.com by Oxford University Press. It covers various languages such as English, Spanish, and French.

When you search, if the word is found in the dictionary, Google will provide you with a comprehensive standard dictionary entry with synonyms, definitions, and example sentences. If Google cannot find the word in the dictionary, it may provide you with some web definitions that it finds online (complete with a link to the source website). If Google cannot find the word or phrase online, the app will notify you that no definition was found.
Step 1: Access and log in to Google Docs
Step 2: Select Start a new document (the + sign).
Step 3: In the editing interface -> enter a word you want to look up and highlight to select.
Next, click on Tools -> select Dictionary.
Immediately, the dictionary meaning of the selected word will be displayed on the top right corner of the screen.
If you input a wrong word -> when selecting Dictionary, a notification will appear as shown in the image below:
