I. Guide to downloading and installing the 2+2 Math for Kids software
1. Quick guide
- Access the download link below, proceed with installation like any other software, and open to use as usual.
2. Detailed Instructions
Step 1: Download 2+2 Math for Kids from here.
Step 2: Open the 2+2 Math for Kids file, select NEXT.
Step 3: Select I accept the agreement, then press Next.
Step 4: Click Browse to change the installation directory and press Next.
Step 5: Press Install to install the 2+2 Math for Kids software on your PC.
- Once the program has finished running, you have successfully installed the software.
II. Instructions for using the 2+2 Math for Kids software
1. The software interface consists of 2 main sections:
- The right section contains arithmetic operations (counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and program closure.
- The left section includes assistance items, program information, settings (sound, background music...) and multiplication table (symbolized by a printer icon).
2. How to use 2+2 Math for Kids for learning
- Counting
To start counting practice, you need to click on the number icon (1) on the left-hand menu. Then, the system will display a menu of various games such as Labyrinth, Mark the picture, comparing numbers or the quantity of pictures. However, fundamentally it's still about counting for children.
+ Note: You can adjust the game difficulty by clicking the + or - icons on the menu.
For example, in the game Mark the picture, children will need to match the quantity of pictures with the corresponding numbers in the two outer columns from left to right and vice versa.
- Addition
To familiarize children with addition, click on the plus sign icon (+) on the left menu bar and select the game format from the menu that appears. For example, in the image below, we select the game format Adding the dots.
Children will perform addition and then click on the button with the result displayed at the bottom of the screen to answer.
- Subtraction
Similar to Addition, you click on the minus sign icon (-) on the left menu, then select the game format. For example, here I choose the game Subtraction.
Children will perform the subtraction displayed on the screen and select the answer below.
- Multiplication
To perform multiplication, click on the multiply sign icon (X) and then select the number to multiply from the right-hand panel.
Enter the result by clicking on the number button at the bottom of the screen.
- Division
Similar to multiplication, you also click on the division sign icon (÷), then select the number to divide.
Once the children have finished playing, you can click on the door icon to exit the application completely.
After completing the games and wanting to exit, you can click on the door icon at the top left corner of the screen. When the software starts, your resolution will decrease to 800x600, but it will return to its original resolution after you exit the software.
