Mastering Vitals in Among Us
1. What is Vitals?
Vitals, exclusive to the Polus map, allows players to check the health status of both the crewmates and impostors. It proves highly useful for tracking who is alive and enables the detection of murders even before you spot the body.
In suitable situations, Vitals serves as an excellent tool to identify impostors. When walking with a few crewmates towards Vitals and suddenly one bids farewell to life, it might indicate that someone in your crew is deceptive. Both Crewmates and Impostors can utilize Vitals.
2. Mastering Vitals in Among Us
Step 1: The first step to use Vitals is quite straightforward; be on the Polus map. Neither Mira HQ nor The Skeld has a Vitals station, so you can only use the Vitals tool on the Polus map.
Step 2: When you find yourself on Polus, to utilize Vitals, you must navigate to the Vitals station located in a room adjacent to the Office.
Step 3: Inside the Office, a large screen awaits. Approach closely, click the button, and now you can observe the health status of each member in the crew.
The colors and symbols within Vitals signify the status of every player in the game:
- DEAD (red color): This indicates that the player was killed by an impostor since the last encounter, and the body is somewhere on the map undiscovered.
Green Glow Alert! This signifies that the player is still alive and kicking (- OK (green color): ).
Shades of Doom! This indicates that the player has fallen prey to an impostor since their last encounter or got disconnected from the game. Typically, it means their lifeless body is off the map, unreported (- D/C (gray color): ).
Voilà! You now possess an additional tool to spot deceivers, conspirators, or monitor how many Crewmates are yet to succumb to the impostors in Among Us.
