Discover HP Omen Transcend 16: Ultra-Slim Gaming Laptop with Mini-LED DisplayHP is expanding its Omen gaming laptop lineup with the new Transcend 16 model featuring a slimmer and lighter frame. This is also the first Omen laptop from the company to offer the option for a mini-LED display.
As per Notebookcheck, Omen Transcend 16 comes with the option of up to Intel Core i9-13900HX CPU with 24 cores and 32 threads, clocking at a maximum speed of 5.4 GHz, and supports up to 32 GB of DDR5-5600 MHz RAM (2 slots of 16 GB each). For storage, only a single 2 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD is supported.
Due to its slim chassis, HP Omen Transcend 16 can only accommodate up to an RTX 4070 mobile GPU with a TGP of 130 W. If budget is a concern, users can opt for lower-priced variants like RTX 4060 and 4050.
HP Omen Transcend 16 comes bundled with the HyperX Cloud II Core wireless headset in the retail package.The 16-inch mini-LED display option of HP Omen Transcend 16 features a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, a maximum brightness of 1180 nits, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, and a refresh rate of 240 Hz. Additionally, there's an IPS panel variant with a resolution of 1600p and 240 Hz refresh rate, or a more budget-friendly option of Full HD+ with 165 Hz.
HP Omen Transcend 16 features two Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C ports, one USB-A 3.2 port for data transfer, one USB-A 3.2 port with charging capability, an HDMI 2.1 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a miniSD card slot. This gaming laptop also supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.

In this version, the rear panel of HP Omen Transcend 16 includes an Ethernet port and two USB-A ports.Although the exact specifications of the chassis are yet to be confirmed, HP states that the Omen Transcend 16 weighs only 2.1 kg, making it one of the lightest 16-inch gaming laptops available. The Omen Transcend 16 offers two battery options: 97 Wh and 70 Wh, and comes in two color variants: Glossy Black and Ceramic White.
HP Omen Transcend 16 is set to be launched in April with a starting price of $1,669.99 USD (approximately 39.9 million VND).
