In a recent statement, Huang Zhaoying, Senior Vice President overseeing global business and marketing at HTC, outlined the company's plans and perspectives on the future of their smartphone division.

According to the strategy, HTC is focusing on maintaining a collaborative relationship with Qualcomm and utilizing Snapdragon 7 series processors in their upcoming models. This decision aligns with the company's goal of meeting customers' 'more fitting' needs, rather than transitioning to the higher-end Snapdragon 8 series.
The company prioritizes the core function of mobile phones, which is communication. While design and features may evolve, HTC emphasizes the long-term importance of mobile communication, guiding their development and product release strategies. Unfortunately, there is limited information on the technical specifications and features of these HTC smartphones at the moment.
HTC's recent performance in the smartphone market, particularly the sales figures of the HTC U23 series, solidifies the company's strategic choices. According to Huang Zhaoying, the HTC U23 series, comprising models U23 and U23 Pro, has witnessed a substantial increase in sales, at least 30% more than the previous HTC Desire 22 Pro. This achievement is noteworthy as the U23 series is only six months old and still within the product lifecycle. HTC's focus on enhancing phone features, especially the camera module, has received positive market feedback.
Beyond smartphones, HTC is actively developing its metaverse ecosystem.
