Exciting tourism products starting from March 24 are expected to extend visitors' stays in the ancient capital of Hue.
Hue Imperial City Officially Welcomes Nighttime Visitors
On the evening of April 22, the Hue Imperial City area (Thua Thien - Hue province) officially opens its doors to nighttime visitors for exploration.
The Imperial City will be illuminated with artistic lighting, further enhancing the value of the world heritage. The Nighttime Royal Palace area spans from the Noon Gate to the Can Chanh Palace courtyard.

A highlight of the Imperial City at night is the royal palace scene appearing in different, sparkling colors, greatly enhanced by light effects.
Mr. Phan Thanh Hai, Director of the Hue Imperial Citadel Conservation Center, stated: 'Opening the Hue Imperial City at night to welcome visitors aims to create an additional attraction in the Hue tourism product, encouraging visitors to stay longer in the ancient capital. This is something currently lacking in tourism activities in Hue.'
According to Mr. Hai, the Hue Imperial Citadel Conservation Center has enhanced exhibitions at some key points, introducing special artistic performances to serve visitors. This is quite different from the Imperial City during the daytime.

When visiting Hue tourism, tourists have the opportunity to enjoy ancient royal rituals such as ceremonial exchanges, grand music performances, chamber music, engaging recitations, and recreated court games.
This is considered one of the tourism stimulus programs for Hue heritage tourism in the 2017 peak tourism season. The aim is to refresh tourism products, create new attractive night destinations for visitors to Hue.
The opening hours for visitors are from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Nighttime ticket prices are the same as daytime prices, 120,000 VND per person for Vietnamese visitors and 150,000 VND per person for international visitors.
