Introducing Icehaven 33, the 33rd iteration of the famous ice hotel in Lapland, Sweden, now open after 6 weeks of construction.
Icehaven 33 – Hotel Built from 500 Tons of Ice
The series of ice hotels, deemed the most famous in the world, served as inspiration for the ice palace in the James Bond film “Die Another Day”. The impressive structure is built from ice harvested from the Torne River, then crafted into a house before melting away in spring.

The Icehaven 33 hotel is entirely made of ice, from the bar counter to themed rooms like ice dome and Japanese garden, just completed in Lapland, Sweden.

This year, 500 tons of ice were used to build Icehaven 33. 200 impressive handcrafted ice crystals were used to create the iconic chandelier of the hotel.

The construction process of Icehotel 33 lasted for 6 weeks. This hotel remains intact for several months thanks to the icy Lapland weather, with an interior temperature of -5 degrees Celsius.

The hotel will be open until April 2023. The price for a 3-night stay at the hotel starts from £504 per person, including 2 nights in warm accommodation and one night sleeping on ice in an ice room with breakfast provided daily.
