To promote Vietnam's image more extensively, the design of the passport has been revamped. It beautifully showcases landmarks like Khuê Văn Các, Ha Long Bay, Tràng An on every passport page.
Iconic Landmarks Featured in Vietnam's New Passport
Ha Long Bay is a stunning natural wonder in northern Vietnam, recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage site in 1994. The bay consists of 1600 limestone islands scattered across an area of 1500 square kilometers, creating a magnificent and vibrant landscape.

Khuê Văn Các has been selected as the official emblematic structure of Hanoi since 1997. It represents the star Khuê, symbolizing the culture and literature of the Vietnamese people. Khuê Văn Các is part of the overall Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam complex. Khuê Văn Các, Liên Hoa Pagoda in Dien Huu Pagoda, and the Turtle Tower in Hoan Kiem Lake are considered the typical architectural monuments of the thousand-year-old capital.

Hoi An Ancient Town was once a bustling trading port, and today it still preserves the essence of centuries past. Hoi An has 1360 historical sites, including 1068 ancient houses, 11 ancient wells, 38 ancestral houses, 19 pagodas, 43 temples, 23 shrines, 44 special type tombs, and a unique bridge. Despite the passage of time, the preserved historical sites almost intact make Hoi An a unique destination.

Tò Vò Gateway is a stunning rocky landscape in Tây village, Lý Sơn island district, Quảng Ngãi province, with an age of approximately 3-4,000 years. It attracts millions of tourists when they visit Lý Sơn island. The gate stands about 2.5 meters tall, formed from the volcanic eruption millions of years ago. Standing at the gate, visitors can admire the panoramic beauty of the fishing village to the north and Mount Giếng Tiên to the south.

My Son Sanctuary in Duy Phú commune, Duy Xuyên district, Quảng Nam province, is the most famous architectural complex of the Cham people in Vietnam. The sanctuary was built from the late 4th century to the 13th century, discovered in 1885, and recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage in 1999. It is a critically important national relic, a sacred and appealing tourist destination in Quảng Nam.

Fansipan Peak, at an elevation of 3,143 meters, is dubbed the “Roof of Indochina.” Fansipan offers a majestic natural landscape with clouds, wind, and mist ever-present. Visitors can reach the summit by cable car or take on the trekking challenge to conquer the mountain with their own strength.

Hue Imperial City includes a system of relics related to the Nguyen Dynasty, distributed in the city of Huế and surrounding districts. Hue's architecture is a unique combination of traditional Vietnamese architecture, Eastern philosophy, Western military architecture, and natural elements. Some typical relics include the Imperial City, Royal Palace, Forbidden Purple City, a system of tombs, An Dinh Palace, Forbidden City Wharf, Tran Binh Bastion, Tran Hai Citadel, Hon Chen Palace, Mrs. Tu Cung's house, and the Temple of Literature.

Hung Temple Complex in Cổ Tích village, Hy Cương commune, Viet Tri city, Phú Thọ province, is where the Hung Kings are worshiped for their contributions to the nation. Hung Temple is an especially important historical and cultural relic, built on Mount Hùng, in the former capital of Van Lang state. The entire complex has 4 temples, 1 pagoda, and 1 mausoleum, situated on a spectacular and majestic highland, resonating with a sacred atmosphere of mountains and rivers.

Nha Rong Port is where Uncle Ho embarked on his journey to seek the path to save the country, subsequently achieving remarkable feats in the struggle for national liberation, reunification, and the development towards socialism on the international stage. The building has a pair of dragons on its roof, in the style of “twin dragons guarding the moon,” hence often referred to as “Nha Rong” (Dragon House). The Nha Rong Port area is also home to the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Ho Chi Minh City branch, a part of the nationwide system of museums and memorials dedicated to Uncle Ho.
