Guide on Identifying Different Types of Graphics Cards
Usually, Graphics Cards come in two types: Onboard Graphics Card and Discrete Graphics Card
- Onboard Graphics Card refers to graphics chips integrated directly onto the motherboard, providing modest performance.
- Discrete Graphics Card is a type of card not embedded in the motherboard but attached separately. The performance of the graphics card is assessed based on the GPU and integrated technology on the card. Typically, these two aspects go hand in hand, meaning the higher the GPU chip, the better the integrated technology on the card.
