Xperia 5 V Marks Sony's Newest Compact FlagshipXperia 5 V still features a compact 6.1-inch OLED display, supporting Full-HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, utilizing a 21:9 aspect ratio with thicker top and bottom bezels to accommodate the dual stereo speakers.
Internally, this phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, paired with 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and users can expand storage capacity via a microSD card slot. Interestingly, Sony continues to integrate a 3.5mm headphone jack into the Xperia 5 V.
Xperia 5 V boasts a compact 6.1-inch displayRegarding photography capabilities, Sony has transitioned from a triple-camera setup to a dual-camera system for Xperia 5 V but with significantly improved sensors compared to before. The phone features the same 1/1.35-inch 52MP main sensor as Xperia 1 V. By default, it will capture 12MP photos with a 24mm focal length. With the increased sensor size and brighter optics, opting for the 2x zoom option (actual focal length of 48mm) will result in much brighter and higher-quality photos compared to Xperia 5 IV.
Xperia 5 V removes the telephoto camera compared to the previous generationThe second camera on Xperia 5 V utilizes a 12MP 1/2.5-inch ultra-wide-angle lens with a 16mm focal length. This seems to be a similar camera found on Xperia 1 V and Xperia 5 IV last year. It features dual-pixel autofocus. On the front, the phone is equipped with a 12MP 1/2.9-inch camera for users to capture selfies and make video calls.
Finally, Xperia 5 V boasts an impressive 5,000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support, capable of charging up to 50% in just 30 minutes. This phone will be available for purchase starting from the end of September at approximately €999 (around 26.1 million Vietnamese dong).
