Challenge yourself, no need to go far, just pack your backpack and conquer the 3 peaks of this mountain range. This trekking route is still new but highly sought after by many young adventurers.
Tam Dao trekking adventure with Thiên Thị, Thạch Bàn, and Phù Nghĩa
Tam Dao is a mountain range approximately 50km in length, covering an area of 850km², oriented from Northeast to Southeast, spanning Vinh Phuc, Thai Nguyen, and Tuyen Quang provinces. Among them, Thiên Thị peak (1,591m), Thạch Bàn peak (1,420m), and Phù Nghĩa peak (Phù Nghì, Máng Chỉ, 1,250m) are notable.

Tam Dao Travel: To conquer all 3 peaks in a day, you need to ensure you are in good physical health. Mr. Thạch Thanh Hùng - a mountaineer who recently conquered this route, said: 'We started very early, around 5 am. With favorable weather, it took us just over an hour to reach the summit of Phù Nghĩa.

The fantastic aspect of the Tam Dao mountain range is its lush pristine forests, especially the bamboo forest with tall straight trunks, creating a cool and mysterious space reminiscent of scenes from the movie 'Ten Layers of Robes'. The most wonderful moment is at dawn when light filters through millions of leaves, mingling with the mist to create a feeling of both melancholy and romanticism.

Scaling Phù Nghĩa Peak isn't too difficult. The biggest challenge lies in overcoming yourself at the beginning stage. This is because your body is not yet accustomed to movement. If you conquer yourself, you can confidently conquer the next 2 peaks.

Thiên Thị is considered the most beautiful peak. From the mountaintop, you can extend your gaze far to admire the valleys of ethereal swirling clouds. Clouds surround you, while around, various wildflowers compete in blooming.
However, before enjoying this sensation, you must overcome quite steep paths. Although the rocky slopes are not continuous, they are densely packed. In some sections, you must pass through dense tree trunks blocking the way. An important note is to thoroughly study the route to avoid getting lost.

The greatest challenge is at Thạch Bàn Peak, where your body is already weary, and the path becomes increasingly difficult. It's not an exaggeration when many professional trekkers rate conquering the 3 peaks of Tam Dao as more challenging than Fansipan. Steep cliffs rise one after another, with one side covered in trees and the other side a precipice. In many sections, you must grip firmly onto tree roots or use ropes to pass.
If in the previous two peaks, you used a stick to move more easily, then at this point, many people decide to 'abandon weapons' and move using 'four limbs' for safety and convenience.

Perhaps the greatest reward for trekkers in the final stretch is the feeling of happiness in overcoming oneself. “Reaching the summit, my body was almost exhausted but there was a strange surge of excitement. The wonderful thing is realizing that I can conquer what seems impossible and then igniting a passion to conquer the next challenges,” enthusiastically shared by Ms. Phạm Thị Hương after returning from an exciting trekking journey.

Upon returning, you'll continue to immerse yourself in the cool, lush bamboo forest. Along the way, you can stop at some stream crevices to enjoy the cool water after the wonderful journey.
