Sứ Bia's design is inspired by the concept of the 'Green House' created by architect Võ Trọng Nghĩa – a project that won the International Architecture Award in the United States, reflecting the capital's residents' love for greenery.
The architecture of Sứ Bia carries the characteristics of the tropical land, uniquely designed and environmentally friendly. The front is covered in a lively green color, exuding captivating beauty. The restaurant's facade features cemented plant pot tiers, protruding like lush green stairs, creating a profound impression. The spacing between the plant tiers is adjusted based on the height of the planted species, ranging from 25 to 40 cm. This 'green garden' utilizes a self-contained water irrigation system placed directly in the plant containers.
Inside Sứ Bia restaurant, there are hardly any separating walls running from the front to the rear, a feature uncommon in many other restaurants. Therefore, the interior space is open, spacious, and from every corner of the restaurant, you can see the greenery running along the outside.
With this design, daytime diners can feel the space at Sứ Bia embracing plenty of natural light without harsh glare, thanks to the greenery filtering the sunlight, creating charming, cool tree shadows on the stone ground. This 'green layer' not only protects those inside from intense sunlight and high temperatures but also reduces the noisy sounds of the street and the pollution of dust and smoke.
