Why I Opted for the Galaxy A52?

Firstly, affordability was the driving force behind my decision. The Galaxy A52 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage stands out as the most reasonably priced and well-configured option, especially when compared to the Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A72. I'm excluding the Galaxy A32 due to its distinct design and insufficient specifications to meet my needs.
In my view, 8GB of RAM is excessive. Since my usage mainly revolves around photography and apps, 128GB of internal storage suffices. This allows me to save a significant amount for future endeavors rather than splurging all my money on this device.

Secondly, after scouring through various forums and popular YouTube channels for reviews on the Galaxy A52, I've concluded that it's the worthy successor to consider. It boasts numerous valuable upgrades, with the most apparent ones being its performance prowess and camera capabilities.
Excited beyond measure, I decided to head straight to the nearest Mytour store to get my hands on it firsthand. Speaking of my initial impressions of the Galaxy A52, I noticed it comes in a variety of colors including White, Black, Blue, and Purple. Perhaps Samsung is targeting the younger demographic like myself by offering such a wide range of choices to make it easier to 'express oneself'.
The Galaxy A52 also comes in a stunning Purple color variant. In terms of design, I find the Galaxy A52 more appealing than the A51 as it remains slim and lightweight while accommodating a 4,500 mAh battery and sporting a more sophisticated rear camera setup. Being someone who dislikes visible camera bumps, I opted for the matte Black variant to minimize the prominence of the rear camera sensors.
So, I decided to purchase the Galaxy A52 then and there, and below are my thoughts after 3 weeks of using the Galaxy A52.
After using it for a few weeks, it has exceeded my expectations.

Being a gamer, the first thing I do when I get home is to fire up the device and immediately download Arena of Valor for a quick match. Despite watching numerous reviews, I still prefer to test it out hands-on.
Firstly, the device can smoothly run at 60 FPS with high graphics settings. However, I recommend sticking to medium graphics settings to conserve battery while still maintaining a high frame rate. This not only saves battery but also keeps the device cooler during extended gaming sessions.

For the first time, I'm truly satisfied with a mid-range Samsung device. Last year's Galaxy A71 was excellent but pricey, so I couldn't afford it. The A51 had everything except for gaming performance, which didn't meet my expectations.
Next up, let's talk about the display. The A52 boasts a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel, delivering excellent display quality. Coupled with dual speakers, watching Netflix or YouTube on this is an immersive experience that makes you lose track of time.

A major highlight of this display is its smooth 90Hz refresh rate support, which is one of the main reasons I chose the Galaxy A52.
The camera is another standout feature, with a 64 MP main sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS) for better image stability. This makes it easier for shaky hands like mine to capture clear, sharp photos with minimal blurring.
Especially noteworthy is the video recording quality on the Galaxy A52, which is exceptional in terms of detail, accuracy in focus and exposure. I'd say this could be one of the best smartphones for video recording in its price range.

As for battery life, it's quite decent. On heavy usage days, I charge it fully at night and by around 5 PM the next day, it gives a low battery warning.
That's with mixed multitasking. If I'm just checking messages and browsing Facebook, by evening, the battery is still at around 30%.
The Galaxy A52 provides a consistent experience even for a picky student like me.

In summary, I chose the Galaxy A52 because it nearly fulfills all the criteria I set. It boasts a powerful configuration with the Snapdragon 720G chip, an excellent display, a decent battery life for day-long work and study, and finally, a versatile camera setup for capturing all the angles in my school campus.
Oh, and as a bonus, the Galaxy A52 is also water and dust resistant, rated IP67. Though I hope I won't need to use this feature often because everything has its risks. When I asked, the staff mentioned Samsung doesn't cover water damage under warranty.
Above are the reasons why I chose to buy the Galaxy A52 and my real-life experiences after using it for a few weeks. If you have any questions about this smartphone, feel free to leave them in the comments below, and I'll try to answer them.
