Kiên Giang always captivates tourists with its enchanting islands, from their names to the natural landscapes. Exploring the islands and archipelagos in this region, visitors can fully enjoy moments of relaxation and immerse themselves in the azure sea and white sands.
Apart from Phu Quoc, Kiên Giang also has 5 unexpectedly beautiful wild islands.
Thổ Chu Archipelago
With the charm of pristine beaches, swaying coconut trees casting shadows, and the friendly smiles of fishermen, but Thổ Chu Island only exists in the realm of backpacking tourism. Thổ Chu Archipelago, belonging to Phu Quoc district, Kiên Giang province, consists of numerous large and small islands. Among them, the prominent ones are Hòn Cao Cát, Hòn Mô, Hòn Cao, Hòn Từ, Hòn Nước, Hòn Keo Ngựa, Hòn Nhạn, and Thổ Châu, known as Thổ Chu by locals. This archipelago is located at the southwestern tip of Vietnam, about 160 km northwest of Cà Mau Cape and about 220 km from Rạch Giá town (Kiên Giang).

The journey to Thổ Chu is not simple at all; there is only one boat trip from Phu Quoc to the island every five days. Unfortunately, with rough seas and heavy rain and wind, sometimes the boat doesn't even make it to the island. After about 6 hours of swaying on the sea, you will see Thổ Chu emerge beautifully with its small houses nestled against rocky cliffs, lush vegetation... Upon arriving at Thổ Chu Island, you can admire colorful coral reefs, watch fish swimming joyfully, enjoy hot seafood, or climb to the top of the lighthouse to admire the entire beautiful island.
Pirate Islands Archipelago
The Pirate Islands Archipelago is located in Tien Hai commune, Ha Tien district, Kien Giang province – with its position as an important trade route from China to Western countries, this place was once overrun by pirates who plundered and attacked merchant ships. Therefore, it's called the Pirate Islands with a system of 16 large and small islands, located in the Ha Tien - Rach Gia Gulf area.

Today, it remains one of the untouched, mesmerizing archipelagos with long stretches of beaches, smooth white sands, and many exquisitely shaped rock formations. Besides swimming, visitors can enjoy various beach activities, snorkel to see coral reefs, and explore crab hunting around the rocky cliffs. All of these will provide you with unforgettable experiences, engraved deeply in everyone's hearts.
Bà Lụa Islands Archipelago
The Bà Lụa Islands Archipelago (also known as Binh Tri) consists of over 40 large and small islands in the sea area of Kien Luong district, Kien Giang province. The Bà Lụa Islands are still quite pristine, with fewer tourists, and are located in an area with less wind and fewer big waves, so recently many tourists have come here to explore and experience. Many tourists liken this archipelago to the 'Little Halong Bay' of the South.

Sunrise and sunset on the Bà Lụa Islands are the most beautiful moments of nature. You will see the sun rise and set over the sea with stunning pink rays. Hundreds of fishing boats anchor in island bays, seeking shelter from the wind, resting as evening falls, some swaying in the vast sea.
Son Island
Son Island, also known as Hon Son Rai (because there used to be many stingrays living here), belongs to Lai Son commune, Kien Hai district, Kien Giang province. Son Island is located between Nam Du Island and Hon Tre Island, and it is considered one of the most pristine and charming islands in Vietnam.

There are 5 beaches on the island: Bang Beach, Nha Beach, Thien Thue Beach, Gieng Beach, and Bac Beach. All beaches are still very pristine and clean. Among them, Bang Beach is considered the most beautiful beach on Son Island with a 1km long coastline curving inward like a sickle, flanked by large and small rock formations, with long stretches of smooth and flat sand. Immersing yourself in the clear and deserted water, admiring the coconut groves swaying along the coast in the wind, breathing in the fresh, cool sea air, you will feel completely integrated with nature.
Nam Du Archipelago
Nam Du Archipelago is located southeast of Phu Quoc Island, Kien Giang province, about 60 km from the mainland, consisting of 21 large and small islands. Due to the recent development of tourism in the past 4 years, Nam Du still retains the most authentic beauty of the island seas.

With the characteristics of a pristine island region, Nam Du has many beautiful beaches with clear water reflecting the deep blue sky. In addition, the nature on the island brings a sense of peace, relaxation, very suitable for resting and escaping the hustle and bustle of the city.
