I started using the Apple Watch by purchasing a used one from a friend on Mytour due to issues with iPhone connectivity on iOS beta. Although the original price was around 8 million, I managed to snag it for only 4 million. Despite using it for a year, it has proven to be a reliable companion. Fortunately, after persistent communication with Apple support, they provided me with a profile to fix the connectivity issue, and it has been smooth sailing since then.I have a habit of treating my watches roughly, often dropping them in the house or accidentally hitting them against surfaces while riding my motorcycle. Despite this, my Apple Watch has endured the rough treatment remarkably well. My fascination with the latest beta features sometimes leads to struggles with resets, but overall, it has remained functional. Surprisingly, there are no scratches or paint chips on its surface despite not using any protective accessories.
Things I Love
Driving with this smartwatch is a breeze: navigate, control music, glance at notifications, and take calls on the go. Riding a motorbike is a joy with its convenience.Exercising without lugging your phone around? No problem! You can still track your fitness and enjoy high-quality music. Spotify even supports offline mode on AW.Controlling your smarthome is a breeze too. When you're nearing home on your bike, simply press a button to remotely open the garage door or trigger preset scenes.Thanks to the new IOS, all the drawbacks such as not knowing when the battery is full, the watch face not being useful... have been effectively addressed. I can set it based on time frames and locations, and it will automatically change the watch face to suit my habits. I rarely need to open the app as I can do everything on the watch face.Unlocking with a face mask on, unlocking the computer automatically. Everything works very quickly and smoothly.The encouragement system for standing up, breathing, and moving to burn calories is very intelligent. Apple has designed it to encourage you to make a little extra effort every day rather than sticking to a fixed reminder schedule like other operating systems. I've earned many medals on special occasions and competing with colleagues in burning calories is also very enjoyable.
Things I Dislike
- Overly durable, making me crave for a newer version with enhanced features like oxygen level alerts and heart rate irregularity detection, which are lacking in newer models. - The price gap between this version and the standard one is substantial. If you're new to using AW, I advise against purchasing this one as you'd be investing a considerable amount to experiment with something that may not necessarily suit your needs.Weak battery (to be supplemented upon request from users). Those who exercise a lot or use it to listen to music will find the battery nearly drained around 9 p.m. The last 20% seems to last until morning. I went mountain climbing and it still lasted overnight for me to charge it the next day.Slow charging, I have to charge it every night before going to bed.
