With such dimensions, you can easily slip the laptop into your bag and take it anywhere to seek inspiration for work or creativity. ASUS has also achieved a great balance between the hinge design and the machine's weight, allowing users to effortlessly open the laptop with just one hand. 

Upon hearing this, many of you may be concerned about whether the laptop's hinge is sturdy or wobbly, right? But rest assured because throughout the usage of ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W), the screen of the machine only slightly vibrates when I directly touch it or when there is strong wind blowing from the opposite side.

The hinge part of ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W) ​also adopts the Ergo Lift design, creating a slight tilt angle when opened. With such an ergonomic design, the user experience with ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W) ​will be more comfortable. You'll have a tilting angle to rest your wrists, reducing wrist fatigue during long work sessions. Furthermore, ASUS has cleverly added two small rubber pads between the hinge and the desk surface, preventing direct contact and minimizing the risk of scratches during use.

Overall, I assess the design of ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W) to not bring many innovations, but it effectively carries on the core values of the ZenBook line, which are slimness, convenience, and exquisite elegance.

Regarding connectivity ports, ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W) is equipped with several ports: 1 USB 3.2 port, 2 USB Type-C ports (Power Delivery and DisplayPort), an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. In my opinion, these ports are at a basic level but fairly comprehensive, meeting the needs for connecting peripheral devices. Moreover, since ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W) is a thin, lightweight, and compact laptop, we can't ask for more in terms of connectivity options.

As soon as you open ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W), what impresses me is the 'edge-to-edge' keyboard of the machine. Regarding the key layout, I find it quite familiar and easy to get used to. However, there is one thing I don't like, which is the position of the power button placed right within the function key row, where the Delete key is usually located. So sometimes, I accidentally press it while using the laptop.

As for the typing experience, I rate it very positively with large-sized keys and deep key travel. The key response and typing feel are very comfortable. I've used the machine for long text editing sessions, even for writing this article, and I felt very little finger fatigue. Especially when combined with the ergonomic design of the hinge, typing for long periods on ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W) is no longer a concern for office workers!

Oh, and the keyboard of ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W) doesn't produce too loud sound when typing, and it also comes with backlighting. So, whether you're a night owl or working on deadlines until dawn, you can confidently use the device!

With a great keyboard, you'd expect the TouchPad to also meet high expectations. And rest assured, the touchpad of ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W) won't disappoint. First off, in terms of size, you'll get a very large touchpad, allowing you to perform gestures and multi-finger actions smoothly without any hindrance. The touchpad surface is also made of glass material, so it glides smoothly without any resistance.

But what impressed me most on the touchpad of ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W) is the NumberPad. Just by activating the open button on the right corner of the touchpad, you'll instantly have a numeric keypad to maximize assistance for tasks related to numbers and spreadsheets. I highly appreciate ASUS' provision of this feature because I can use my left hand to enter numbers using the NumberPad while my right hand operates the mouse, making spreadsheet tasks easy and efficient. Now, data entry on the machine is optimized and speedy, promising accounting or data analysis folks a delightful experience!

Besides quickly entering numerical data, you can also swipe quickly from left to right on the upper edge of this touchpad to quickly open the Calculator feature, allowing for rapid calculations right on the screen in just a few seconds. Quite convenient, isn't it?

ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W) features a vibrant, sharp 2.8K display

ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W) comes with a 14-inch display using OLED panel with high resolution, up to 2.8K (2,880 x 1,800) and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The first thing I noticed on the screen is its clarity, vibrancy, and sharpness. Every image displayed on the screen is vivid and captivating.

Another advantage of the display of ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W) is its high brightness, with a maximum brightness of up to 550 nits, allowing comfortable usage even in conditions with strong lighting such as outdoors or next to coffee shop windows, with display quality nearly unchanged.

However, the display of ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W) will not be equipped with anti-glare support. Perhaps to maintain the clarity of the screen and deliver a vibrant content viewing experience, ASUS chose not to include an anti-glare screen for ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W). This is essentially a trade-off, so depending on your needs, it may have little or significant impact. Personally, I find it acceptable, as it does not significantly affect the usage experience, and I prefer a clear and vibrant screen over one with an anti-glare coating that reduces content viewing experience.

To meet the demands of work and content creation, ASUS surely invests heavily in the display of ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W). In addition to the high resolution and OLED panel with 1.07 billion colors, the screen also meets the Display HDR True Black 500 standard, covering 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a response time of only 0.2 ms, ensuring excellent performance for tasks such as photo editing and video editing with higher color accuracy, faster response, and smoother operation.

Oh, and don't forget, the screen of ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W) is also touch-sensitive and supports a stylus. I really enjoy this feature during usage, especially using the stylus on the machine is very effective and enjoyable. I can quickly jot down meeting notes or schedule daily tasks in a much more creative and efficient way. The screen can also be tilted up to 180 degrees, allowing me to easily share screen content with others, which is very useful when working in a team or attending meetings.

In my personal evaluation after using it, ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W) is one of the most impressive laptops at the current time in terms of display. The machine provides sharp, vibrant display with accurate colors, without being too saturated or washed out like some other OLED screens! The black color of the screen is also very deep, almost merging with the machine's bezel even when I turn the brightness to the maximum, making displayed content stand out and more captivating.

The machine is powered by the AMD Ryzen 5 - 5600H chip with 6 cores and 12 threads, featuring a base clock of 3.3 GHz and a boost clock of up to 4.2 GHz. It's designed based on the Zen 3 architecture with an IPC (instructions per cycle) index over 19% higher than the previous Zen 2 version. So, there's no doubt about the performance of this machine.

Paired with the powerful chip is the integrated AMD Radeon Graphics card, allowing ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W) to handle tasks ranging from office work to graphic design, content creation, image editing, smoothly and seamlessly.

Moreover, ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W) is equipped with 8 GB of RAM, providing good multitasking capabilities and minimizing the need for reloading even when opening multiple Chrome tabs while working. The machine also features a 512 GB NVMe PCIe SSD, offering high-speed data read/write and ample storage space.

To provide you with a more visual understanding of this laptop's performance, I quickly tested its performance using software such as Geekbench 5, Cinebench R23, and 3DMark. Here are the results:

- GeekBench 5:

• Single-core/Multi-core: 587 points/5,330 points.
• GPU Compute: 12,987 points.

- Cinebench R23 (Single-core/Multi-core): 1,354 points/8,234 points.

- PCMark 10: 5,501 points.

- 3Dmark: 1,296 points.

After conducting performance evaluations on the ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED, I observed that the results were impressive. The scores were consistently high, reflecting my smooth and fast user experience with various tasks.

As a frequent user who often juggles multiple browser tabs for work, research, and multitasking with various apps, I highly appreciate the experiences provided by the ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED throughout my usage. The multitasking apps rarely reload, always ready for me to dive into tasks. Despite handling a substantial workload, the machine operates smoothly, seldom encountering lag or stuttering.

In addition to performance evaluations, I also tested two games, FIFA Online 4 and Forza Horizon 4, on the ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED. In both games, I set the graphics to the highest settings and used MSI Afterburner software to measure FPS, CPU temperature, RAM consumption, etc., providing a more visual insight for you.

First up is FIFA Online 4, where the ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED maintains an average frame rate of 90 FPS throughout a match. Occasionally, there are sudden scene transition effects like goal replays, slow-motion, or when first entering the game, causing the FPS to drop to around 60 FPS, sometimes down to 40 FPS, but the experience remains very good. In terms of graphics processing, the ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED reproduces images with great detail, from characters to backgrounds, even small details like the grass on the pitch are depicted very clearly.

Next is Forza Horizon 4, a game with much heavier graphics compared to FIFA Online 4 above, but the ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED still handles this game quite well. The ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED delivers a smooth gaming experience with an average frame rate fluctuating between 30-40 FPS (due to screen recording, the machine's frame rate may be reduced).

The ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED delivers excellent graphics processing capabilities by faithfully reproducing details in games, from the sky, surrounding scenery, to collision effects, drifting, etc. Combined with the impressive display of the machine, my gaming experience is truly elevated!

Additionally, I also used Crystal Diskmark software to measure the read/write speed of the SSD inside the ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED. Here are the results I obtained:

• Read speed: 1,837 MB/s.
• Write speed: 1,589 MB/s.

Based on the results, I evaluate the data read/write speed of the machine to be good. We can transfer data from the machine to storage devices more quickly without having to wait too long. Therefore, it helps optimize your work performance and usage experience on the machine.

ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W) with over 6 hours of battery life and good cooling capability

In addition to performance, battery life is also a concern for many users when using a computer. I used BatteryMon software to test the 48 Wh battery of the ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W) and divided it into 2 different usage scenarios. The results I obtained are:

- Scenario 1: Regular tasks without gaming:

• Battery life: 6 hours 36 minutes.
• Measurement time: 1 hour.
• Screen brightness at 100%, volume at 70%, and battery saver mode off.
• Keyboard backlight on.
• Bluetooth connection enabled for keyboard and USB mouse connected.

- Scenario 2: Regular tasks with 20 minutes of gaming:

• Battery life: 5 hours 4 minutes.
• Measurement time: 1 hour.
• Screen brightness at 100%, volume at 70%, and battery saver mode off.
• Keyboard backlight on.
• Bluetooth connection enabled for keyboard and USB mouse connected.

With the above measurement, I evaluate the battery life of ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W) as excellent. Without gaming, the laptop provides over 6 hours of usage, comfortable for daily tasks such as web browsing, social media, online work, etc. Even during gaming, the battery life remains impressive, exceeding 5 hours. This demonstrates efficient power management and optimization of the device.

However, it's important to note that the actual battery life of the laptop will depend heavily on the tasks and settings you apply. If used for light tasks, the battery life may be longer because during testing, I set the brightness to maximum and the volume quite high. Certainly, if gaming extensively, this figure will decrease. Therefore, I emphasize that the battery life mentioned in the article is for reference only!

Next, I also used two additional software, HWiNFO64 and HWMonitor, to evaluate the cooling capability of ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W). And here are the results I obtained:

In both results, the GPU and CPU temperatures of ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED (KN209W) fluctuated between 39 and 42 degrees Celsius. This is a very good temperature range for a thin and light laptop like ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED. During real-world usage, I also found the laptop to operate coolly with light tasks such as web browsing, office tasks, and video playback. However, during gaming or heavier tasks, the laptop does warm up slightly around the keyboard area and near the hinge. Nevertheless, overall, the laptop temperature remains at a good level, not affecting my usage experience.
