When discussing Asus gaming laptops, the ROG series often comes to mind. However, today we're evaluating a popular gaming laptop from another Asus series that holds its own: the Asus FX504G.

Upon closer inspection, the machine exudes a tidy appearance, avoiding the excessive bulkiness found in other ROG models. The entire body is crafted from polycarbonate material with vertical scratches, providing a metallic touch.
With a weight of 2.3 kg, this falls within the average range for many modern slim gaming laptops. This allows gamers the flexibility to carry the machine anywhere for gaming sessions.

Certainly, being a gaming laptop, the FX504G handles everyday office applications with ease.
For League of Legends, I configured the settings to medium-high. The average frames per second measured were 130 FPS. Moving on to CS:GO, I set the configuration to the maximum. The average frames per second measured were 97 FPS.
Efficient Cooling System
On the cooling system, the laptop employs dual cooling fans. After more than 2 hours of continuous PUBG gaming, the fans still haven't switched to Overboost mode. The palm rest area only feels slightly warm, not too hot.
Drawbacks of the FX504G
While the machine boasts certain advantages, it still has some drawbacks, including:
