For the average user, when using this TV, it's best to avoid using HDR+ and only use the Standard preset, turn off Eco features, and slightly reduce backlight from default.
4K / HDR Performance
The 8K test videos provided by Samsung showcase the stunning scenery and natural images on the 2019 85-inch Q900R TV. Viewers will be dazzled by the enhanced detail, texture, clarity, and depth of the images. Colors on the screen also appear more refined, making objects look more solid and without any distorted or pixelated structures.

Notably, this TV has nearly double the brightness of any previous TV. In fact, the dark areas of HDR images can appear extremely black. The black levels tend to remain uniform and deep if a very bright object appears in a dark area – often a weakness of LCD/LED TV lines. The 2019 85-inch Q900R TV can handle minimal gray levels excellently and doesn't suffer from blooming around bright areas. Additionally, with small bright objects, the new 85-inch Q900R TV also has the ability to manage them, making them brighter than the previous Q9FN TV.

However, there are three minor drawbacks to the high brightness of the 2019 85-inch Q900R. Firstly, black levels in images containing both bright and dark content may appear grayish compared to OLED or Q9FN TVs. Lastly, the high brightness of the 2019 85-inch Q900R often has a significant impact on color, especially with images containing a mix of bright and dark content scattered around the image, causing colors to appear duller than the Q9FN.

However, the stunning images of the new 85-inch Q900R still impress even the most discerning tech experts. The remarkable resolution and brightness of the TV combined to deliver the best images ever seen on any TV.
Sound
Unfortunately, the sound of the 2019 85-inch Q900R is nothing remarkable. Its speakers only provide adequate volume for a 'gigantic' TV. However, the voices from the TV are quite warm and intelligible, and Samsung’s Smart Sound system also helps automatically optimize sound settings for any type of content users watch.

Furthermore, the sound from the device is undistorted, and there's an intuitive option for automatic sound adjustment processing. When compared, Samsung's product still falls far short of the sound quality of a superb 75-inch TV from Sony: the KD-75XE9405 (also known as the Sony Bravia XBR-75X940E in the US).
Price and Release Date
Currently, in the US, the product is available in an 85-inch version - QN85Q900RAFXZA, and a new 98-inch version will soon be released (pricing not yet clear).
In the UK and other regions, this product is called the Samsung QE85Q900RATXXU and is available in sizes of 65, 75, and 82 inches. Regarding pricing, the Samsung QN85Q900R is not cheap - priced at $14,999 (equivalent to 348.81 million Vietnamese Dong) in the US.
