The development team of Liên Quân is still working hard to balance the strength of heroes and equipment, while constantly adding new heroes transferred from the Glorious King.
In this latest adjustment of Liên Quân heroes, many popular heroes have been put under the microscope for balancing their strength. Let's delve into the details of the latest changes in the Boundless Abyss version of the Virtual World.

Ming (buff)
Although a new hero, Ming has left gamers somewhat disappointed. Despite his handsome appearance, he hasn't contributed much to solo rank climbing. Therefore, the balancing team has stepped in to rescue him.
Innate:
- Magic damage: 250530 (+0.2 magic power) => 300580 (+0.2 magic power)
- Healing for allies: 180600 (+0.27 magic power) => 225 ~ 645 (+0.225 magic power)
- Self-healing: 120400 (+0.18 magic power) => 150430 (+0.15 magic power)
Skill 1:
- Basic magic damage: 20120 (+0.25 magic power) => 30~180 (+0.2 magic power)
Skill 3:
- Standard damage: 800/1350/1900 (+1.5 magic power) => 1000/1500/2000 (+1.5 magic power)

Overall, compared to mages or supports with similar playstyles, Ming still has a lot of weaknesses. His biggest flaw is the lack of crowd control, making it quite difficult to play in this agile meta.
Kaine (nerf)
Recognizing Kaine's excessive influence in both ranked matches and tournaments, the balancing team has decided to reduce his power.
Innate:
- Range of invisibility 7m => 7.5m

In simpler terms, before the adjustment, as long as there were no enemies within a 7m range, Kaine wouldn't consume his inner energy to reveal himself. Similarly, he would accumulate inner energy to enter invisibility mode. However, with the Liên Quân hero adjustment, we now need 7.5m. Generally, reducing in this direction will affect Kaine, but not significantly enough to make him less formidable.
Volkath (buff)
Although Volkath received a slight buff in the third update of the Liên Quân Festival version, he still isn't strong enough to become the chaotic lord the balancing team desires. Therefore, they continue to buff him.
Skill 1:
- Slow: 90~30% for 1 second => 50% for 1.5 seconds
- Stun: 0.75 => 1 second

This buff is quite reasonable for Volkath. The most notable point is the stun duration, with 1 second being enough for him to do everything from mounting, using summoner spells, swapping items, to using Flicker,... However, considering the current meta, Mytour believes Volkath is still very challenging to play.
Lorion (balance)
This Liên Quân hero has been receiving quite a bit of attention lately. Previously, he was gently buffed by the developers, but they found Lorion too powerful after the adjustment, so the game development team had to redo it.
Innate:
- Increased lightning strike frequency, from every 0.75 seconds to every 0.5 seconds.
- Increased damage dealt to the same target, 50% on the second hit, 100% from the third hit onwards.
- Magic damage: 155~575 (+0.35 magic power) => 31 ~ 451 (+0.175 magic power).
Skill 2:
- During flight to the lightning orb, gain 30% damage reduction.

Looking at the reduced stats in skill 1, many gamers might feel quite uneasy. The innate ability has both reduced base damage scaling and reduced damage added from physical power. So, despite dealing more damage over multiple hits, the quality can't match up to the current state. In exchange, this Liên Quân hero will receive more continuous healing, especially since skill 2 also provides considerable damage reduction, so it seems to be alright.
Aoi (nerf)
Recognizing Aoi's overwhelming power in both tournaments and ranked matches, there's no reason for the game developers to let her reign supreme for so long.
Skill 1:
- Aerial State: Damage 375625 (+1.4 bonus physical power) => 300600 (+1.2 bonus physical power).

Players need to note that Aoi's damage is only reduced when using her grappling hook, while it remains normal during her other attacks. Looking at this Liên Quân hero adjustment, Aoi's impact in the late game will be significantly reduced. However, overall, she's still quite powerful and can't be counted out of the meta yet.
Yue (nerf)
Originally, Yue was dominating in ranks due to numerous map hacks, and the game developers seem helpless in stopping the widespread map hacks. Therefore, tweaking this Liên Quân hero to weaken her slightly is something they can do at the moment.
Skill 1 + 2:
- Magic damage 325650 (+0.45 magic power) => 330580 (+0.5 magic power)

With this adjustment, Yue's early game might sting a bit more, kind of like a psychological compensation for the best heroes, but her late game damage is reduced slightly. However, according to Mytour, Yue is still a hot pick because if enemies lack magic resistance and get hit by a well-placed strike, they're toast.
Zip (nerf)
Previously, Zip had been 'pregnant' with adjustments to reduce his power, only to bounce back. And now, once again, this Blowfish is being called out.
Skill 2:
- Early cessation of sucking will reduce skill cooldown by 50% => 30%.
ZipThis will limit the continuous armor buffs from Zip's skill 2, forcing Zip players to decide when to fully suck and when to just fake armor sucking. What do you think about this Liên Quân hero adjustment? Will this help Zip be released more often? Leave your comments below to let us know.
