Experience the Cultural, Sports, and Tourism Week at the national terraced fields of Mù Cang Chải from September 26 to 29, situated in the central district of Mù Cang Chải, Yên Bái province, and the communes of La Pán Tẩn, Dế Xu Phình, Chế Cu Nha.
During this occasion, Yên Bái province is organizing an exhibition and awarding the winners of the “Beautiful Travel Photos of the 8 Northwestern Provinces” competition. Particularly, the fast harvesting and skilled plowing competition, held as part of the event, promises to attract the active participation of diverse ethnic communities in the region.
This event commemorates the 55th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Yên Bái province (September 25, 1958 – September 25, 2013) and introduces the beauty of the terraced fields of Mù Cang Chải. It also promotes the unique cultural identity and potential strengths of the Mông ethnic people in Yên Bái to both domestic and international tourists.
