Review of a lunch buffet at the First Class buffet restaurant - 18 Hoang Viet, Tan Binh district
The First Class buffet restaurant, located within the First Class hotel system, has garnered high praise from many diners. The spacious and elegant ambiance makes it perfect for family gatherings as well as celebrations with friends and colleagues.

A standard lunch buffet costs 195k, but booking through PasGo brings it down to 185k per person. (Details of the discount program for buffets can be found at the end of the article!).

The buffet at First Class restaurant offers nearly 60 dishes from both Asian and European cuisines, including specialties from all three regions of Vietnam such as West Lake shrimp cakes, Thanh Tri rolled rice cakes, Phan Thiet sizzling pancakes, Vung Tau tiny shrimp pancakes, and various local delicacies from the ancient city of Hue (water fern cake, clear tapioca dumplings, steamed rice cakes with shrimp paste, gac fruit steamed rice cakes, shrimp cakes...), noodle soup, beef noodle soup, duck bamboo shoot noodle soup, braised catfish, sour soup, spring rolls, beef offal stew.... Though not elaborate, traditional dishes are prepared with flavors that are quite pleasing, appealing to a wide range of palates.

International dishes are also quite diverse, offering many choices such as wasabi seafood spring rolls, ginseng pig trotters, Teriyaki grilled chicken wings, Chinese medicinal braised beef brisket, smoked bacon-wrapped sausage rolls, wine-braised beef, Italian spaghetti with minced meat sauce... enjoyed not only by adults but also by children. Particularly, dishes with sausages and spaghetti are devoured by our kids in no time!

While the quantity of seafood dishes may not be extensive, they are equally impressive, especially in terms of flavor and presentation... truly mesmerizing! Some of the most remarkable seafood dishes at First Class buffet restaurant include grilled scallops, twisted shells, coconut-steamed shrimp, spicy clams, lemongrass-steamed snails, grilled skewered shrimp, fairy hair shellfish soup, crispy fried fish eggs, ginger-steamed razor clams, baked oysters, pan-fried squid with fish sauce....
