Despite its hidden alley location, this place is widely known for its sensational Blood Cockles Steamed with Shallots dish, a gem not found in any other snail restaurant. Snail enthusiasts, take note of this address.

Madam Diệu's Snail Restaurant has been around for about 15 years now, tucked away in a deep alley, so only regulars are familiar with it. Reservations are a must as the space is quite small, accommodating just enough guests, so please take note!
You can enter alleys 26/50/52 Đỗ Quang Đẫu or 148 Bui Vien and inquire with the locals for Madam Diệu's Snail Restaurant.

The selection of snails here is meticulously chosen, only fresh ones are sold, so all types of snails are plump, fresh, and meticulously cleaned. The variety of snails here is impressive: blood cockles, sweet snails, whelks, scallops, razor clams, hairy snails, sea snails, crab claws,.. any fresh snails are brought here to sell.
Because of this, the prices here are a bit higher than other snail restaurants, but I guarantee that the price matches the quality, so everyone can rest assured.

For grilled dishes, there are grilled with scallion oil, cheese, or pepper. I find all dishes delicious, the key is fresh snails so all are crispy and sweet, adding cheese gives a creamy taste, 10/10.
In addition, there are also butter corn stir-fry, salted egg stir-fry, pepper stir-fry, chili salt stir-fry,… and the best seller dish: Blood Cockles Steamed with Shallots.

This dish is delicious because the blood cockles are large and full of meat, cleaned and simply cooked so you can taste the sweetness and crispiness of the snail, very tasty. Served with steamed shallots and a hot bowl of soup, fragrant with pepper and shallots. Although simple to make, the taste is very appealing.
The price for a plate of steamed razor clams like this is 100k/plate, the snails here range from 80k to 150k/plate.

For those who want to dip bread, order stir-fried with butter, pepper sauce, or tamarind sauce. The best is butter stir-fried, rich and creamy with added corn. If you like the strong aroma of pepper, then pepper sauce is a must-have, in general, I find the dishes here well-seasoned, flavorful, suitable for my taste buds ^^

The vendors are lovely and very hospitable, always keeping the place clean and tidy. After eating, they even offer a complimentary dessert, the restaurant really cares about their customers.
Overall, I find the quality of snails here excellent, fresh and delicious, 10/10. Remember to call ahead and make a reservation before dining here.
