Raise to Wake is a feature found on many Android phones for a long time. With iOS 10, you can experience this functionality on your iPhone. Follow the guide below.

This feature is quite useful but is only supported on iPhone models 6S, SE, and newer. iPhone 4/5/5s/6/6 Plus models do not support this feature.
Step 1: Navigate to Settings => Display & Brightness.

Step 2: Switch on the Bring up to turn on toggle to On position.

After toggling to On, turn off the screen and experience this feature.

Step 3: To activate the screen, try lifting the device in front; if the screen lights up immediately, it's successful. If your screen doesn't light up or takes a while, the gyroscope sensor on your iPhone may be malfunctioning, or your iOS version may have a bug. Resolve this by updating to the latest iOS version and checking the auto-rotate functions on the device.

Step 4: Some iPhone users note that this feature may drain the battery faster. If you don't wish to use this feature, follow the steps again and toggle the Bring up to turn on switch to Off. That's it.

This feature truly comes in handy when you want to check the time, read messages quickly without interacting with the device. If you find the article interesting and useful, drop a comment and share your thoughts about the post with Mytour in the comments section below!
