Exploring Hoi An on Bamboo Bikes
To experience the peaceful and simple life in Hoi An, there's no better way than renting a bicycle and exploring on your own. However, for Mr. Vo Tan Muoi - a farmer in Quang Nam, Hoi An needs a more unique tourism product. Thus, Mr. Muoi came up with the idea of transforming ordinary iron bicycles into environmentally friendly bamboo bicycles.
From the idea, Mr. Muoi and his family have produced bicycles with frames and handlebars made of sharp bamboo, not only flexible and sturdy but also very eye-catching, attracting international tourists to visit, learn and place orders. Therefore, in addition to exporting, Mr. Muoi's family also plans to produce bamboo bicycles to serve tourists cycling through the scenery of Hoi An.
This can be considered as the first steps in the formation of a model of bamboo bicycle tour to explore the outskirts of Hoi An ancient town combined with visits to the central villages of bamboo, coconut, and sedge in Cam Thanh.
