More than just a train journey, Seven Stars offers an unforgettable culinary experience along with top-notch amenities and panoramic views of Kyushu Island.
Inside the most luxurious Seven Stars train in Japan.
The Seven Stars train consists of 7 cars traversing the prefectures of Kyushu Island. Launched in 2013, the train offers scenic tours around the island. Travelers can experience picturesque landscapes, cuisine, hot springs, history, and culture here. Prior to departure from Hakata station, passengers can relax in the exclusive waiting lounge.

The train has 10 rows of rooms with modern Japanese interiors. Large windows plated with gold allow you to admire the rich natural scenery while exuding luxury. The most prominent feature is the tea room floored with tatami mats in traditional ryurei style.

There is also a luxurious car with self-service drinks. You can sip drinks at the bar counter and immerse yourself in the pleasant atmosphere with the melodious sound of live piano performances. Passengers can also enjoy the starry sky through the windows, holding a glass of wine and relaxing on the sofa.
The Seven Stars train travels along a 3,000 km route through Kyushu. Depending on travelers' preferences, the itinerary varies. Typically, tourists opt for a 4-day, 3-night journey to explore Kyushu's cuisine.

On the third day, the Seven Stars train stops in Miyazaki city for a bento box making experience. Carefully selected ingredients are dried for many years before use. Especially, dishes made from local ingredients are packed in cedarwood bento boxes.

On the fourth day, breakfast is served at Murezuru Shuzo, consisting of 'watadamai' (rice served to the Japanese Imperial Family) cooked in the brewery's kiln and 'Torijiru' chicken soup.
