Insider Tips for an Unforgettable Sapa Journey Shared by the 90s Heartthrob
According to Yen Thanh, “Sapa is truly a new experience for me. The most memorable journey of my youth. In general, just go to Sapa. That's when you truly see how beautiful Vietnam is.” Below are Yen Thanh's shares after the Sapa trip, inviting you to check them out!

Means of Transportation
I booked round-trip plane tickets from Saigon to Hanoi on the page www.facebook.com/tky.ticketair during a promotion for only about 1 million VND by Vietjet Air. From Hanoi, I took the Sao Viet sleeper bus to Sapa for 230,000 VND per trip. I traveled at night, slept for about 5-6 hours, and arrived in Sapa in the morning. I recommend traveling at night to save time and feel less tired.
Getting to Sapa, we traveled to Tả Van homestay by taxi for only 200-250,000 VND. Since we traveled in a group, we saved on transportation costs.
Accommodation
We stayed at Phơri’s House homestay, which offers reasonable prices. I chose Phơri’s because I love its design and the stunning view it offers. The price is around 10 USD per person. However, there are also many hostels in Sapa priced around 6 USD for those who want to save more.

Dining
Dining options in Sapa are abundant. You must try the grilled chicken and fish hotpot, with Mường Hoa restaurant in Tả Van being a recommended spot.

Additional Tips to Note
If you're into lively vibes, rest assured, there are plenty of bars and pubs here for you to enjoy to your heart's content.
Be sure to prepare sneakers as there's quite a bit of walking, mainly uphill.
Sapa may be cold, but it's a refreshing kind of cold. You can still wear a regular T-shirt, just add a thin jacket.

Make sure to visit Tả Van, where there's a fairly long suspension bridge at the museum area, connecting one mountain to another. Rent ethnic costumes for some fantastic photo opportunities. Entrance fee is 10,000 VND, and costume rental is 30,000 VND, allowing you to take photos to your heart's content.

The locals here are lovely and friendly, but one downside is they can be quite persistent in trying to attract tourists.
Sapa offers countless Instagrammable spots. Everywhere you go is picture-perfect. It's just a shame I visited during harvest season, so all the rice has been harvested.
