Users can interact on Stories using Instagram's new Add Yours sticker

Today, the social media giant Instagram announced the addition of a new sticker called Add Yours, enabling users to respond to others' Stories through custom prompts or topics. This feature, initially tested for users in Indonesia and Japan last month, is now being rolled out globally.

The new interactive sticker on Instagram can be used to create a chain of content, where users add their own Stories. For instance, users can post any story and encourage followers to add more stories through stickers.

In a Tweet posted on Twitter, the company revealed that this new feature allows users to share stickers and see who responds with that sticker in their Stories.

Users can access the new Add Yours sticker by tapping the sticker tool on the navigation bar while creating a Story, and can kick off their public chain by selecting any sticker from the menu or by responding with the available Add Yours sticker and adding their Story to the chain.

The new feature promises to help Instagram significantly enhance interaction, especially as the social network is 'losing' younger users to other social platforms like TikTok.
