True to its name, the Voice Messages feature in Direct allows users to send audio messages in conversations.
To send a voice message, users simply need to press and hold the microphone icon in any conversation and speak, then release the finger from the icon to send or swipe left and select delete to delete the voice message.
Additionally, during the voice message recording process, there is another feature that allows users to access Hands-Free mode. When tapping the microphone icon, a small lock icon will appear at the bottom corner of the screen, swipe your finger into it to disable the recording part. If you want to delete the message, you just need to tap the delete icon. A small note is that the duration of voice messages is limited to 1 minute.
