According to recent information provided by Mytour, Facebook has just released a new update for Instagram on Windows 10. As a result, Instagram for Windows 10 has been updated to a PWA, based on the Chromium Edge browser and WebView instead of the classic Microsoft Edge version as before, to provide users with a better experience.

With the latest Instagram update, Facebook introduces a host of exciting new features. Among them is a new menu that allows users to easily access extensions and other options available on the Edge browser.

Of particular note is that the new update of Instagram for Windows 10 does not remove any features, features such as direct messaging (DM) remain available. However, users cannot directly upload photos to the platform through this web version.
Finally, the Instagram update in the form of a PWA is currently being deployed on devices and will soon be available to all users in the near future.
